Ang bagong logo ng BSP na adopted in 2012 features the Philippine Eagle which symbolizes the BSP aspiration to sort toward becoming a World-Class Monetary Authority it has 3 stars representing the three Pillars of Central Banking,”

To carry out its mandate the BSP focuses on these 3 Pillars of strength.

“The first Pillar is Price Stability, When it say price stability it does not mean that prices are not changing when it say price stability prices are changing but, stable lang, naturally in progressive economy or yun economy kapag meron economy activities kapag umuunlad siyempre yun mga tao gumagasta, gumaganda yun negosyo, kapag gumagasta yun mga tao, ang tendency for crisis is to go up and that is okay, so its good na may price movement ang hindi okay ay yun erratic, ito ang binabantayan ng BSP,”

Bakit gusto natin ang price stability? Because it preserves the purchasing power and allows consumers and businesses to make sound economic and financial decisions,”

Ang pangalawang Pillar ay Financial Stability – The BSP seeks to maintain the help of a banking system so, that it cannot effectively  intermediate between providers and users of funds, the BSP enforces rules and regulations to ensure that banks conduct business in a safe and sound manner,”

The third Pillar is the Payments and Settlements System this help ensure the safe timely and accurate payment and settlement of financial transactions,”

“The BSP various responsibilities touch the lives of Filipinos and test with promoting price stability it uses its various policy tools to help keep inflation low and create the environment for sustainable and inclusive grow price stability preserve the purchasing power of the Filipino people,”

“The BSP is also the supervisor of all banks it monitors and examines the operations of banks and quasi-banks all over the country it also regulates under special laws other financial institutions such as non-stock savings, loan associations as well as pawnshops, if the banks are strong people are encouraged to save and in the process help finance economic activity,”

“Makakatulong sa ekonomiya kung ang lahat ay magpa participate sa formal banking system o financial system para umikot ang pera yun pera ng mga depositors sila yun may mga excess funds, ilagay nila sa bangko para naman ito ay mapaikot ng bangko kasi yun banks channels or funds for those who have excess money to those needing the funds yun mga investors, since yun mga investors natin yun mga businesses they usually source their funds or capital requirement from the box so, kung naron yun mga pera ng mga depositors malaking ambag yun sa ating economy kasi magagamit yan sa mga economic activities that will make para mapaunlad ang ating bansa, Ang concluded  Photo by: Mario Oclaman //FNS
