BRINGING THE TASTE OF THAILAND TO BAGUIO

BRINGING THE TASTE OF THAILAND TO BAGUIO

The Summer Capital of the Philippines just got hotter! Mango Tree Cafe opened in SM City Baguio last March 2020. Mango Tree was inspired by a solitary 100-year-old mango tree that still grows at an old Thai house in Bangkok’s Surawong district. The house later became the first Mango Tree restaurant over 25 years ago (1994) and the beginning of the story of the world’s leading Thai restaurant brand. The global brand now has more than 70 outlets around the world including the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, China, Japan, and Dubai. From a successful start in the Philippines in 2010, Mango Tree has expanded to several locations around Luzon. Today, Mango Tree Cafe has 7 branches in the Philippines.

Local diners and international visitors can savour a mouth-watering menu based on the concept of “sumrub”, how a Thai meal is eaten, with a selection of appetizers and salads, plus grilled, fried, stir-fried and steamed dishes, curries, soups, and vegetables, accompanied by Thai jasmine rice. Each dish is crafted by talented Thai and fully-trained Filipino chefs using high-quality ingredients, including seasonal and sustainable produce wherever possible.

In addition to authentic Thai cuisine, Mango Tree Cafe offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere for the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal and experience the taste of Thailand. This October 2023, Mango Tree and Mango Tree Cafe will add regional Thai dishes featuring recipes from Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai) to showcase the different regional menu items of Thailand for a truly authentic experience.
