Blessing and Inauguration of Atok MPS held during PBGEN Lee’s command visit in Benguet

Camp Major Bado Dangwa La Trinidad Benguet- (April 30, 2021) – PBGEN Ronald Oliver Lee attended the blessing and inauguration of the newly constructed Atok MPS Building held at Atok, Benguet on Wednesday, April 28.

The newly constructed Atok Municipal Police Station (MPS) building is made possible with the strengthened partnership of PROCOR and Atok LGU as they continue to improve its services to deliver the best for the community. While the Atok LGU donated the land for the site, the PROCOR started the construction in July 2020 and finally finished this April.

During the blessing and inauguration of the MPS Building, attendees were the PROCOR’s Command group and staff led by the Regional Director, PBGEN Lee, the Benguet Provincial Director, PCOL Reynaldo DR Pasiwen, the Legislative Caretaker Representative of Benguet, Hon Eric Go Yap together with the Local Government Officials of Atok led by the Municipal Mayor, Hon Raymundo S Sarac.

As the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Hon Yap unveiled the commemorative markers and ribbon cutting of the building that was then blessed by Rev Fr, PLTCOL Jonathan I Chy.

After the inauguration and blessing, PBGEN Ronald Oliver Lee awarded ten (10) Medalya ng Kagalingan to three Police Commissioned Officers and seven Police Non-commissioned Officers for their invaluable service that contributed to the peace and order of their community.

PLT Ariel Abellera, PCMS Sebio D Laduan and PSMS Beneffen Dayukong Jr. were awarded for their accomplishments on the successful implementation of Marijuana Eradication in Takadang, Kibungan Benguet.

PCpl Evereth Ballo on her accomplishment in the arrest of the no. 6 most wanted person in Provincial level, while PCpl Junie Baydangan and PCpl Reynald Bag-ayan for their accomplishments on the successful arrest of a high value individual in their Buy bust operation.

Lastly, PLT Francis Pawe, PLT Oliver D Dacay, PCpl Franklin P. Pel-ey and Pat Abel G. Sudkaren were awarded for their relentless effort that resulted to the return of three Communist Terrorist members.

Meanwhile, the three (3) returnees along with their surrendered assorted firearms were presented during the program. Helping them to start anew, they were given a cash-aid and assorted groceries by PBGEN Lee, three (3) cavans of rice by Hon Yap, while a livelihood program was offered by the Regional Director of DOLE Cordillera.

PBGEN Lee thanked the Municipal LGU of Atok for their contribution in the newly built MPS and assured them that the Atok MPS will continue to serve for the peace and order of the community.

In the afternoon, PBGEN Lee addressed the Benguet personnel which was participated by all the Chief of Police in Benguet led by the PD, PCOL Pasiwen as they convened at Atok Municipal Hall.

In their meeting, PBGEN Lee commended the personnel’s accomplishments in their area of responsibilities. He also encouraged them to use their initiative and be creative in delivering services to the community.

Further, Rev Fr, PLTCOL Chy reminded them of the Enhanced Revitalized PNP Internal Cleansing Program (PNP MC 2019-027), that as a police officer one should be responsible, obedient, loyal in service, an exemplar to be a good model.(PROCOR RPIO)
