BGH Rotunda Garden is sponsored by BCC through the “Adopt a Park” program.
BAGUIO CITY – (October 23, 2023) Formal Ribbon cutting of the BGH Rotunda Garden led by Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong, BCC General Manager Anthony De Leon together with the City Administrator Bonifacio Dela Peña and City Tourism Officer Aloysius Mapalo with the presence of the Scout Official for a Day (SOFAD 2023) for City Mayor Ms. Grace Langwas and City Environment Parks Management Office Head for the Day Ms. Pia Luwicao. This will be followed by the unveiling of the fountain at the center and the ceremonial signing of the memorandum of agreement between Baguio Country Club and the Local Government of Baguio City.
This signifies a Mother and Child caring for a mother of her child and it is also interpreted as the loving hand of a healthcare professional to the patient it symbolizes a lot of things but the main reason for this is to show “LOVE AND CARE” for each other this is the message of the BGH Rotunda Garden it could be presenting Mother and Child created by Romy Chua through Baguio Country Club.
BCC General Manager Anthony De Leon said “It’s our pleasure and honor to adopt this BGH Rotunda and I appreciate the effort and concept that was prepared by Mr. Romy Chua he is a landscape float project designer, we are proud to maintain this for the city of the partnership with the local government and we really are privilege to work with you Mayor, Maraming Salamat po,”
Mayor Magalong expressed his gratitude to the Baguio Country Club.
“It will be the start of our Adopt an Island program here in our city to know our island and at the same time to make sure that we have participated in good governance undertaking to local government it encourages CSO companies and business establishments to adopt an island so, Maraming Salamat this is the biggest island actually adopted by Baguio Country Club,” the Mayor said
