The Ibagiw Creative Festival 2023 unveils a unique bean-to-bar art experience, celebrating the rare and exquisite Criollo cacao variety. This groundbreaking collaboration intertwines the high-value crop with a high-value artist resulting in artisanal covers for the heritage cacao bars. Spearheaded by former Cordillera Tourism Department regional director Marie Venus Tan, the project debuts on Nov. 18, 2023, at The Forest Lodge in Camp John Hay and will be on public display from Nov. 19 to Jan. 2024.
