BCPO buy-bust OP nets two drug personalities

The Baguio City Police Office arrested two suspected drug personalities on May 8, 2023 after selling suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to an operative who acted as a poseur-buyer in Purok 1, Barangay Honeymoon.

In a report, BCPO Information Officer Police Captain Angeline Dongpaen said operatives of Baguio City Police Office-Aurora Hill Police Station (PS6), CDEU, CIU, CIDMU, and RIU14 conducted buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old painter tagged as a High-Value Individual (HVI) and a 44-year-old storekeeper tagged as Street Level Individual (SLI), both staying in a condominium in Baguio City.

Seized from the suspects include more or less 9.7 grams of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Ph65,920, a cellular phone, buy-bust money, and a tax identification card of one of the suspects.                                                                                            

“Markings and inventories of confiscated pieces of evidence were conducted on-site in the presence of the arrested suspects and duly witnessed by representatives from the Department of Justice, the media, and barangay officials,” Dongpaen reported.

The arrested suspects are now under the custody of Aurora Hill Police Station while charges for violations of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Drug Act of 200) are being prepared for filing against the suspects. – JMPS
