BCC Christmas Village experiences a refreshing escape from the tropical heat, opening on October 19

BAGUIO CITY,  (October 17, 2024) –  In the Special Kapihan edition held at the Baguio Country Club Christmas Village, new creations made from recycled materials (used clothes, excess construction materials, and tarps) were presented to the media.

The theme for this year is Alpine Holidays owing to its cool climate and winter effects.

The so-called Alpine Environment refers to a cold, windy, and snowy area characterized by low temperatures.

Registration for adults is P170; for 13 years and below is half price,  3 yr old and below is P20.

The Flash mob performance in the middle of Christmas village will be present at the grand opening and some of the employees of the club will have their gesture performance on the stage immediately after the nativity sing and they have a dance performance.

According to Anthony De Leon – President, HRAB and General Manager of Baguio Country Club –  “everybody knows we started and we’ve had different establishments for destinations but,  I guess people forget that what we are trying to sell here is not an attraction, it’s the experience because anybody can put up the structure, anybody can come up the same activity even the winter, fall or even some performers anybody can do that but the experience is still different from Baguio rather than experience in a Christmas village with the snow machine somewhere that south because they don’t have a weather  like dito sa atin, we have experience of winter and the climate here in Baguio which is different when they do a Christmas village in the lowlands”

Jeff Ng – Chairman, HRAB and General Manager of Hotel Supreme is very supportive of the major highlights of the Hotel and Restaurant Tourism weekend especially the coronation night of Mr. and Ms HRAB 2024 on October 18, which will be held at the Cordillera Convention of the Baguio Country Club.

Malou Galiste, Executive Director of HRAB and Resident Manager of Baguio Country Club, said that people can buy tickets online through Gcash. They go to the site of Baguio Country Club Christmas Village, make a reservation online, and pay via GCash. Tickets with QR codes will be issued to them. They can use the QR code to scan here, and they can access the event without falling in line.

“Mas madali na lang at walang aberya  na kapag nakapag book ka na ng tickets mo papasok ka sa club ay pwede mo na rin I- book yun mga apo mo at mga anak to buy tickets for the ball pit and carousel,”
