BAGUIO’s FINEST is All set to secure the upcoming Big Events

All systems go for the Baguio City Police Office after a coordinating conference presided by City Director PCOL FRANCISCO B. BULWAYAN JR., at the BCPO Kapanalig Hall, Abanao, Baguio City on Monday, October 23, for the upcoming big events; the Oct. 30 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) and the commemoration of the UNDAS (All Saints and All Souls Days) holidays.

Present during the meeting were the BCPO Command Group, Staff, Chief Operating Units, Station Commander, and representatives from Baguio City Police Information Office, Baguio City Fire Station (BCFS) United Guardians Bayang Pino Inc. (UGBPI), Baguio Benguet Public Information Civic Action Group (BBPICAG), GRACE Guardians, Inc.(GG Baguio), 911 On Call Inc. UNTV News and Rescue, City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (CDRRMC), Health Services Office (HSO) Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP), Alpha Kappa Rho International Fraternity and Sorority (AKRHO) Baguio among others.

The City Director assured that they would go on full force together with City leadership, concerned government agencies, and volunteer groups two days before the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) and maintain this force until All Saints Day.

A total of 653 police personnel for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections and additional volunteer groups deployment will be presented at the next meeting on October 26, 2023.

Meanwhile, BCPO COMU updated the deployment on Undas with a total of 671 police personnel and volunteer groups expected to troop the 89 cemeteries and 28 memorial parks in the city to ensure a smooth and peaceful observance of Undas 2023.

To avoid traffic congestion, more or less 700 designated parking slots will be provided.

In addition, parking is not allowed along public roads near the cemeteries and a drop-and-go only for passengers will be implemented. ### (BCPO-PIO Photo courtesy)
