Baguio commends Loman for recent victory

City officials commended and congratulated Stephen ‘The Sniper’ Loman of the prestigious Team Lakay for winning via unanimous decision against his archrival Bibiano Fernandez during the One Fight Night 4 At the Singapore Indoor Stadium last November 19, 2022.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that Loman’s recent achievement yet again proves that Baguio city is one of the home of world class athletes thereby giving pride and honor to the city and to the whole country.

Loman, a resident of the city, recently scored the biggest and most impressive performance of his decorated career as a mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete following a dominant unanimous decision win over former world champion Bibiano Fernandez.

The 27-year-old and former Brave Combat champion from Team Lakay showcased that he was better in all aspects of mixed martial arts having outpointed the Brazilian in their striking and grappling exchanges throughout the contest, thus, securing his 11th straight win, third in One Championship. – Dexter A.
