Baguio City Homicide through Stabbing Solved within 24 Hours

The Barracks Homicide through Stabbing Incident case was solved by the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) within 24 hours after the arrest of the suspect, and a case was filed against him at the Justice Hall, Baguio City on September 11, 2023.

The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO)-Loakan Police Station (PS 4) identified the suspect as alias Jessie, a 54-year-old man currently staying at Happy Hallow, Baguio City.

The victim was rushed to Baguio General Hospital by his co-workers and was declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician at 11:11 p.m. on September 9, 2023.

Based on the Medico-legal of the victim, he sustained one stab wound penetrating the right infraclavicular area, causing his death.

Upon arrival, Loakan Police Station (PS 4) investigators immediately conducted an interview with all the co-workers of the victim who are residing at the said barracks, which revealed that the victim was able to mention the name of the suspect to one of his co-workers.

“Jessie” was committed to Baguio City Jail by the duty city prosecutor on September 10, 2023.
