Apayao PPO conducts outreach activities and is part of the PNP Oplan Bisita Eskwela
In Apayao, police officers of the Apayao Police Provincial Office (PPO), successfully conducted an outreach activity held at Langnao Elementary School in Brgy. Naguilian, Calanasan, Apayao on September 6, 2023.
According to PCOL JEFFERSON CARIAGA, the Provincial Director of Apayao PPO, joint personnel assigned at the Apayao PPO Provincial Headquarters, 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies, Regional Intelligence Unit-14, 1505th Maneuver Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15, and Calanasan Municipal Police Station initiated the said activity not only to extend their helping hand to our kakailyans at the said barangay but also to personally visit them and check their current situation after the consecutive typhoons hit the province.
During the said activity, PCOL CARIAGA personally led the distribution of school supplies to 38 students at the school. Beneficiaries also enjoyed the feeding activity initiated by the team.
In his message, PCOL CARIAGA encouraged the parents to strive harder and support the needs of their children, and he gave inspiring words to the students to do their best in school.
Also, the Provincial Director thanked the Local Government Unit of Apayao, led by Hon. Gov. James Bulut Jr. for their unending support of the PNP in helping our kakailyans in the province.
The outreach activity initiated by the Apayao PPO is part of the PNP’s Bisita Eskwela Program, which aims to conduct school visitations purposefully to strengthen the police-community partnership, sustain crime prevention efforts, and extend help to the community. (PRO CORDILLERA-PIO / File Photos)
