Another beneficiary for Benguet COP’S Pabahay Project

Another house was finally turned over to a family in Kabayan, Benguet as the 9th beneficiary of “Pabahay Handog Project of Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO)”.

Manang Janet, a 52-year-old person with a disability (PWD) and a solo parent has been chosen by Kabayan MPS as their beneficiary of the pabahay handog project.

According to Kabayan MPS, the construction of the house has started in January 2021 and was made possible through the contributions of the different community stakeholders.

After a year of hard work, the new house was officially turned over to Manang Janet in a simple house blessing and turn over ceremony graced by PLTCOL BALDWIN SOKOKEN, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations (DPDO), who represented PCOL REYNALDO DR PASIWEN, the Provincial Director of Benguet PPO; and other stakeholders.

Together with her three children, they will now be staying in the newly constructed house with two rooms, a dirty kitchen, living room, and comfort room.

Also, from the donations of private donors and personnel of Kabayan MPS they handed over kitchen utensils, burner stove, plastic cabinet, and curtains to be used by the family in their new home.

With her new home, Manang Janet couldn’t find the right words to express her gratitude to Benguet PPO and Kabayan MPS for all the assistance that the police are providing to her family. (PROCOR-PIO)
