AIDS CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL.

The City Government of Baguio through the AIDS Watch Council held the AIDS Candlelight Memorial at the Baguio City Hall multipurpose hall on May 30, 2023.

The said memorial is in observance of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2023 with the theme “Spread Love and Solidarity, Not Stigma and Fear”.

The City Government of Baguio is represented by Mayor Benjamin Magalong with Councilors Betty Lourdes Tabanda, Levy Lloyd Orcales, and Elmer Datuin. The City Health Services Office is represented by Dr. Celia Flor Brillantes and Samuel Aquino representing the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office, and Baguio Association of Night Spots (BANS) members, representatives from the local churches and advocates light their candles for loved ones who died because of HIV-AIDS.
