ABRA PPO welcomes new Top COP

PCOL FROILAND BALANGUI LOPEZ officially assumed his post as the new Provincial Director of Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO), following the Assumption of Command Ceremony held at the PROCOR Log Cabin in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on March 21, 2023.

PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., graced the said momentous occasion as the Guest of Honor & Speaker, and Presiding Officer.

As the highlights of the ceremony, PCOL GLENN D LONOGAN, the Chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD), read the termination order of PCOL MALY C CULA as the outgoing Provincial Director of Abra PPO and the designation order of PCOL LOPEZ as the new Provincial Director.

In his assumption of office message, PCOL LOPEZ expressed his sincere gratitude to the PNP leadership who entrusted him with the responsibility as he urged all the utmost cooperation and support of all the Abra cops under his command as they worked together for peace and order of the province.

 “It may be very challenging but it is a pleasure to be serving the people of Abra and lead the men and women of Abra Police Provincial Office”, PCOL LOPEZ said.

PCOL LOPEZ was the former Chief of the Regional Intelligence Division of Police Regional Office 1 before taking the helm of Abra PPO.

Meanwhile, PBGEN PEREDO JR., thanked PCOL CULA for all his support and the peacekeeping projects he accomplished, being the outgoing Provincial Director of Abra PPO. The Regional Director also extend his congratulation and welcomed the new Provincial Director, PCOL LOPEZ for accepting his appointment. (PROCOR-PIO /File photos)
