Abra PPO awarded as the Most Outstanding PPO in Police Community Affairs
CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet- (August 5, 2921) – Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) was awarded as the Most Outstanding PPO in Police Community Affairs Development (PCAD) during the virtual culmination program of the 26th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month Celebration, with the theme “Pulisya at Pamayanan: BARANGAYanihan sa Hamon ng Pandemya at Laban sa Krimen” held at PROCOR Multi-Purpose Center in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on July 30, 2021.
The award was conferred to Abra PPO as they joined the ceremony virtually.
Aside from the unit award, PMSg Dick Timbreza, CAD PNCO of Bangued MPS, was also awarded as Outstanding PCAD Senior PNCO in the entire Cordillera region. This award was the result of the various significant contributions and innovations of PMSg Timbreza in enhancing PCR accomplishments of Bangued MPS contributing to the overall PCR accomplishments of Abra PPO and PROCOR. In his message PCOL CHRISTOPHER ACOP, Abra PPO Provincial Director said, “I felt so much honored to be receiving the award on behalf of the hardworking Officers, Men, and Women of Team Abra. This award is the fruit of the collaborative efforts between PNP Abra and our civilian counterparts. More than being recognized in the whole Cordillera as the Best PPO is our satisfaction that our sacrifices, commitment and dedication have been noticed by our higher headquarters and as the Unit Commander, I am more than privileged to be leading the finest of troops.” (PROCOR-PIO with report from Abra PPO PIO)
