A painter busted in buy-bust in Benguet

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet- (May 15, 2021) – A painter turned out to be a drug user and a pusher listed as a High-Value Individual (HVI) was arrested in a joint buy-bust operation of PROCOR Cops and PDEA-CAR in La Trinidad, Benguet in the evening of May 12. 

Based on the report submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE, the suspect was identified as Alexander Quibol Lacadeo also known as Angel, a 40-year-old painter and a resident of Teachers Village, Baguio City.

Lacadeo was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.41 gram worth Php 2,788.00 to a poseur-buyer.

In the course of his arrest, another sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.34 gram, the buy-bust money composed of a genuine & a boodle money, and a cellular phone was confiscated from the suspect.

The inventory and markings of items were witnessed by an elected official, a media and a DOJ representative.

Lacadeo and the pieces of evidence were brought under the custody of La Trinidad MPS for documentation and proper disposition. He is now facing charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165). (PROCOR RPIO)
