Last Baguio Drug Kingpin convicted for life

Baguio court finds Federico Olivares “GUILTY” beyond reasonable doubt for violation of Section 11, Article 11 of Republic Act 9165 and sentenced to suffer the penalty of “LIFE IMPRISONMENT” with a fine of P500,000.00.  The decision was released by PDEA Cordillera this Monday, February 28, 2022.

PDEA Cordillera Regional Director Gil Castro said this definitely lowers the drug menace in the City as the major supplier was broken down.  He added that the father and mother of convicted Olivares were also meted the same sentence for the same violation.  Castro further assessed that Baguio will be safer without the family’s hold on drugs.  PDEA Cordillera file photo
