Hot pursuit OPS ongoing for a shooting incident suspect in Abra

PROCOR cops are now on the hunt for a suspect involved in a shooting incident at Brgy. Pang-ot, Pilar, Abra early morning of February 28, 2022.

Citing the report submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE,  victims were identified as Charmel Castro, 25, and Mario Ambrosio, 60.

According to Pilar MPS, the victims were playing a card game in a wake when an unidentified suspect appeared and without apparent reason shot victim Ambrosio while victim Castro was hit by a stray bullet.

The victims were immediately brought to Narvacan District Hospital however Ambrosio was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

The personnel of Pilar MPS is now conducting a thorough investigation to identify the suspect and to determine the motive of the crime. Meanwhile, hot pursuit operations are ongoing for the possible arrest of the suspect. (PROCOR-PIO)
