PROCOR gave gifts to 170 visually impaired families
CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Yuletide Season is the time for giving and sharing, a Filipino tradition showing appreciation and gratitude to people close to our hearts.
In Police Regional Office Cordillera, 170 visually impaired families received assorted grocery food packs and face shields from PROCOR Regional Director PBGEN R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN in partnership with Regional Advisory Council Member Ms. Dona Digna Rosario. In addition, Php50,000.00 cash was also given by the Regional Director for the visually impaired beneficiaries.
In a simple ceremony held at the PROCOR Grounds in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, 100 participants physically attended the program to comply with the requirements of the Local Government Unit of La Trinidad and in accordance to the safety protocols during this time of pandemic. Other safety protocols were also strictly observed during the entire duration of the program.
In response, the beneficiaries showed their appreciation by showcasing their talents in singing.
In the Christmas message of PBGEN PAGKALINAWAN, he shared that in the midst of this pandemic, we must always remember that the real meaning of this season is the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ.
The PNP leadership cancelled all kinds of celebration this yuletide season in all PNP offices and instead encouraged everyone to celebrate with loved ones in the simplest way possible and in observance of the safety standards during this pandemic. (PROCOR PIO)
