Ten CTG supporters in Cordillera return to the Folds of Law

Ten former supporters of CPP-NPA in Apayao, Benguet, and Ifugao have withdrawn their support to the communist terrorist group (CTG) and surrendered to PROCOR cops from January 23 to 30, 2022.

Based on the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the series of negotiations initiated by joint operatives of PROCOR and AFP with the help of the different barangay officials and their families resulted in the withdrawal of support of 10 former CTG supporters.

In Apayao, six (6) former Militia ng Bayan under Kilusang Larangang Guerilla (KLG) operating in Cagayan and Apayao voluntarily surrendered to the Apayao cops. A 51 and 58-year-old couple from Sta. Marcela and four (4) from Luna. 58 years old, male; 59 years old, male; 48 years old, female; and 53 years old female.

Meanwhile, in Benguet, three (3) former Militia ng Bayan from KLG-North Abra denounced their support from the Communist Group, a 58-year-old male and 54-year-old female from Abra; a 38-year-old male from Mountain Province.

In Ifugao, a 56-year-old former CTG supporter of KLG- Ifugao also surrendered along with subversive documents, assorted clothes, and medical kits. (PROCOR-PIO)
