HULI DAY ON HOLIDAYS, A SUCCESS

Knowing that some wanted persons will visit their family during the holiday seasons, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, PROCOR Regional Director, has instructed the PROCOR Police Force to intensify its manhunt operations against those individuals wanted by the law.

Dubbed as “OPLAN HULI DAY, PBGEN LEE has instructed the different units of Police Regional Office Cordillera to further strengthen its intelligence monitoring against those individuals with warrants of arrests that may visit their family during the holiday seasons.

According to the records of the Regional Operations Management Division (ROMD), from December 19, 2021, to January 7, 2022, during the implementation of “OPLAN HULIDAY”, a total of 65 individuals with warrants of arrest were arrested, of which, 18 were listed as Most Wanted Person in Various Level.

The same record also revealed that 48 loose firearms were voluntarily surrendered to the different units of PROCOR during the same period.

On the Anti-illegal Drugs Component of the “OPLAN HULI DAY”, a total of 15 drug personalities were arrested. In addition, 146.54 grams of Shabu, 4,086 pcs of fully grown marijuana plants, and 40,025 grams of marijuana leaves and stalks with an overall Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 6,616,952.00 were seized.

Various police responses during the same period have resulted also in the arrest of 21 individuals for various crimes and the confiscation of two firearms.
