ABRA COPS build a concrete water tank in Villaviciosa
As part of the ongoing Community Support Program (CSP) in Abra, police officers of Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) together with the Regional Mobile Force Batallion 15 (RMFB15) and the residents, worked together for the construction of a concrete water tank in a remote barangay in Villaviciosa.
According to the CSP team, the need for a concrete tank to supply water to the community in Brgy Tamac is one of the primary concerns raised by the constituents in the area.
In response, the CSP team organized a plan to address the need of the community.
From the ELCAC Fund of 1st and 2nd Abra PMFC, along with the help of the Local Government Unit of Villaviciosa, they were able to provide enough funding to make the project possible.
The lay-outing and construction of the concrete water tank, with dimensions of 3×3 meters in diameter, was started last November 19, 2021, by the CSP team along with some residents in the area.
The concrete water tank will serve as a reservoir that will be able to supply water to almost 160 households in Brgy Tamac. It is expected to be completely constructed by the second week of December this year. (PROCOR-PIO)
