OVER P1.2 MILLION WORTH OF MARIJUANA PLANTS DESTROYED IN BENGUET

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad Benguet- (June 4, 2021) – As the result of the continuous marijuana eradication operation of PROCOR, Benguet cops destroyed over P1.2 M worth of fully grown marijuana plants in their one-day operation in Sitio Dalipey, Barangay Tacadang Kibungan, Benguet on June 3, 2021.

Based from the reports given to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE, the intensified marijuana eradication of Benguet operatives led to the discovery of five (5) plantation sites located in a communal land of sitio Dalipey, Barangay Tacadang Kibungan, Benguet.

The discovered marijuana plantation sites have a total of 1,050 square meters with more or less 6,300 fully-grown marijuana plants amounting to an estimated value of Php 1,260,000.00.

All uprooted marijuana plants were burned onsite after properly documented. (PROCOR -PIO)
