Two street-level drug personalities fall in the hand of PROCOR COPS and PDEA CAR

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet โ€“ (May 19, 2021) – Two (2) Street Level Individual (SLI) drug personalities were arrested in the intensified joint effort of Police Regional Office Cordillera and PDEA CAR in separate buy-bust operations in Benguet and Baguio.

Reports given to the PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, revealed the identities of the arrested drug personalities as Jordan Briones Dapnisan, 31, farmer from Mankayan, Benguet and Alvin Dela Cruz Cajepe, 40, caretaker and a resident of Palma Urbano, Baguio City.

According to the operatives of Benguet Police, Dapnisan was arrested in Sitio Poy-oc, Guinaoang, Mankayan, after he sold one (1) sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.50 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 3,400.00 to the operative who acted as a poseur buyer.

Other confiscated items from the suspectโ€™s possession were one (1) sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.80 grams with SDP of Php 5,440.00, three (3) small sachets with white crystalline residues, the buy-bust money used, one (1) improvised toother, one (1) lighter, and one (1) unit white keypad cellphone.

Meanwhile, City Police Director PCOL ALLEN RAE F CO disclosed that around midnight of May 19, joint operatives of Baguio City Police, La Trinidad MPS, RID, RIU 14, RECU-CAR, and RACU-CAR, led to the arrest of the suspect Cajepe in Rizal Park, AZCKO Barangay, Baguio City, after he sold one (1) sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.50 grams with SDP of Php 3,500.00 to a poseur buyer.

Further, markings and inventory of all confiscated items from both operations conducted were made in the presence of a prosecutor, a barangay official, and a media representative.

Moreover, the arrested suspects and all seized items were brought to the respective operating unit for documentation and proper disposition.

Suspects are now facing charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165). (PROCOR-PIO)
