No. 3 Most Wanted Person in the station level with several warrants of arrest nabbed in Baguio City

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad –  (April 20, 2021) – A fake doctor listed as No. 3 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in the Station Level was apprehended for several cases of Estafa and Usurpation of Authority in City Camp Lagoon, Lower Rock Quarry, Baguio City on April 19, 2021.

In a report from the Baguio City Police Office, the suspect identified as Job Johann Tumada Calano, 43, OFW and a resident of Baguio City, was arrested based on warrants of arrest for five counts of Estafa and eight counts of Usurpation of Authority. Said suspect is listed as No.3 MWP Station level (Pacdal Police Station) for the 2nd Quarter of 2021.

The warrants of arrest served against the suspect were three counts of Estafa with a recommended bail of Php 300,000.00 each case; another two counts of Estafa with a bail of Php 200,000.00 each case issued by a different judge, and eight counts of Violation of Art. 177 of the Revised Penal Code (RPC) or Usurpation of Authority, with a bail of Php 10,000.00 each case.

Based on the investigations conducted by the operatives, Calano claimed to be an NBI agent showing the badge in his wallet that was removed from the shooting competition trophy of his father. Also, he allegedly claimed to be a doctor in order to entice his clients, but failed to provide any supporting documents for such.

The suspect has a total estimated bail of Php 1, 580,000.00, and is currently detained at Pacdal Police Station (BCPO PS-3) by virtue of a detention mittimus issued by the court prior turn over to the Baguio City Jail and in compliance with health protocols. (PROCOR-PIO)
