Brings connectivity, rewards, and fun activities to Baguio festival

Globe is bringing exclusive activities, prizes, and entertainment to the highly anticipated Panagbenga Festival 2025 in Baguio City, giving festivalgoers new ways to pursue their passions and make their experience even more rewarding.

Panagbenga, which means “season of blooming” in Kankanaey, is a month-long flower festival that showcases the culture, history, and values of the Cordilleras. It is known for its grand float parades and street dancing that attract visitors from all over the country. 

Excitement over the festival begins even before guests from Manila take the trip to the summer capital. From February 21 to 23, visitors and returning locals will get to enjoy the following activities at the Victory Liner bus terminal in Cubao:

●             Globe customers traveling to Baguio will get instant freebies at the Globe booth, in partnership   with Leslie Corporation.

●             Customers who opt-in to the All-New Rewards program will get free 10 Globe Rewards Points, which may be used to play G Swipe via the GlobeOne app for a chance to win an iPhone or MacBook Air.

●             Festivalgoers can easily buy SIMs and top up their load at the Globe booth to stay connected. .

In Baguio, festival-goers are invited to visit Globe’s booth at Upper Session Road (near SM Baguio), from February 24 to March 2 (10 a.m to 10 p.m.), where they can take part in the following fun activities:

●             Grand raffle–  Participants will get a chance to win prizes by completing  a survey.

●             Spin-the-wheel giveaway- Festivalgoers just need to present their GlobeOne app for instant prizes.

●             Swag station- Attendees can use their Globe Rewards points to customize their special merchandise. 

At the Panagbenga Festival, kasama ang Globe in giving the youth rewarding experiences and avenues where they can share their talents and passions.

At G Music Fest on March 1, a highlight of Globe’s Panagbenga festivities, bands from across Northern Luzon will get the chance to showcase their music on the G Music Fest Stage. These include PREZA, a local band made up of students from Saint Louis University, and Medyo Maybe,  whose members hail from Saint Louis University and the University of the Cordilleras.

They will perform alongside top OPM acts: Arthur Miguel, who has 2.3 million monthly listeners of Spotify with his hits “Dito sa Ilalim ng Buwan,” “Crazier,” “Ang Wakas” and chart-topper “Lihim”; and Calein, the artist behind hit single “Umaasa,” with 3.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Students will also get exclusive offers, including discounts on food, drinks, and merchandise of their choice in participating local spots: Hot Cat Cafe, Uji-Matcha Cafe, R&B Library, and Mt. Cloud Bookshop. Students simply need to show their Student ID and donate 1 Globe Rewards Point on the GlobeOne app at the nominated partner cafe.
