The intensive training, which included an Obstacle Course and firearms proficiency exercises, was held at the Division Training School of the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army in Barangay Upi, Gamu, Isabela. Participants underwent rigorous physical and tactical exercises designed to test endurance, discipline, and leadership.
Atty. Magtanao-Taguinod’s participation highlights the increasing involvement of legal professionals in national defense efforts. Atty. Rod Peterson Ignacio also joined the said training. The 1405CDC plays a crucial role in the 14RCDG, which is responsible for strengthening the Army’s reserve force and enhancing civilian-military cooperation.
“This journey represents a significant step in serving both the legal community and the country, embodying the principles of leadership, patriotism, and civic duty”, said Atty. Magtanao-Taguinod.
