PRO-CAR WELCOMES PNP’S TOP COP, PGEN MARBIL
The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) warmly welcomed the Chief of the Philippine National Police (CPNP), PGEN ROMMEL FRANCISCO DAYLEG MARBIL, during his command visit at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on January 17, 2025.
Upon his arrival, PGEN MARBIL was graciously received by the PRO-CAR leadership, led by the Regional Director PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, along with other members of the command group PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Deputy Regional Director for Administration; PCOL JULIO S LIZARDO, Deputy Regional Director for Operations; and PCOL LEDON D MONTE, Chief Regional Staff.
The CPNP was accompanied by PLTGEN ROBERT T RODRIGUEZ, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Deputy Chief PNP for Operations; PMGEN NEIL B ALINSAÑGAN, Director for Comptrollership; and PCOL RANDULF TUAÑO, Acting Chief of the PNP Public Information Office.
As a highlight of his visit, PGEN MARBIL led the distribution of financial assistance to two PNP personnel affected by a recent fire incident. He also officiated the ceremonial turnover of nine Starlink Internet Kits and portable generators to various PRO-CAR units. Additionally, he presented awards to three exemplary police officers from PRO-CAR for their outstanding contributions to the PNP’s anti-criminality initiatives.
In his message, PGEN MARBIL emphasized the crucial role of police officers in upholding dignity and ensuring credible, trustworthy elections. He stressed the importance of integrity, dedication, and professionalism in serving the public, all aimed at making the Cordillera Administrative Region a safe and peaceful place for residents and visitors alike.
“As we approach the 2025 National and Local Elections, let us work together to uphold the values of honesty, order, and peace, ensuring the voice of the people is heard in harmony. The responsibility lies in our hands as we embody the ‘Mahusay, Matatag at Maasahan na Kapulisan’—a force committed to a ‘New Philippines’ where safety prevails. Let’s remember that securing a safe and prosperous future starts with our unwavering commitment to crime prevention and resolution,” PGEN MARBIL stated.
After his message, PGEN MARBIL also inspected the confiscated loose firearms seized in the province of Abra from 2023 to 2024 and toured the newly renovated facilities of the Camp Bado Dangwa Hospital and St. Paul Church, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting both PNP personnel and the community.
