A total of 55 Boy and Girl Scouts are to be sworn in today, Oct. 21, 2024, as Scout Officials for a Day to take over the helm of the city government.

This is under the annual SOFAD program in line with the Scouting Month celebration.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued Executive Order No. 109, series of 2024, designating qualified members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines and Girl Scouts of the Philippines to take over various offices of the City Government providing them an opportunity to have hands-on training in the day-to-day activities of public servants. – APR/NCO
