Mayor calls for post-typhoon clean-up drive on Saturday, July 27, 2024
As the weather condition improves with the exit of typhoon “Carina,” Mayor Benjamin Magalong urged barangay officials and residents to launch their own community clean-up activities to put not only their homes but their entire community.
He made the same appeal to business establishment owners who he said should also take charge of the upkeep of their frontages and surroundings.
โTyphoon Carina unleashed strong winds that felled trees, branches, leaves and debris that up to now remain scattered along roads and sidewalks. Let us help restore and maintain the cleanliness of our barangays,โ the mayor said.
“Magtulong-tulong po tayo sa paglilinis matapos itong bagyo. Para po ito sa ating syudad at para na rin sa ating kalusugan at pangkalahatang kaayusan.ย Maraming salamat po,” the mayor added. – Aileen P. Refuerzo
