City okays more barangay budgets, ordinance and tax measure 2024

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified city council resolution no. 353, series of 2024, granting favorable review of the budgets of Engineer’s Hill and Session-Governor Pack Road barangays for this year pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.

The City Budget Officer forwarded for review by the local legislature the preliminary reviewed annual budgets of said barangays for calendar year 2024.

In its second indorsement dated May 24, this year, the august body’s committee on barangay affairs recommended favorable review of the two barangay budgets.

The approved measure directs the return of said barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation.

The Mayor also signed resolution no. 349, series of 2024, granting favorable review of Upper Quezon Hill barangay ordinance no. 01, series of 2024; and resolution no. 355, series of 2024, doing the same for Poliwes barangay tax ordinance no. 01, series of 2024. – Gaby B. Keith
