Order relaxing LISTT entry protocols issued
BAGUIO CITY – (5 March 2021) – Baguio City relaxed its entry protocols for neighboring towns La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba and Tublay (LISTT) in line with Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases Resolution 101-2021 imposing uniform traffic protocols in the country.
Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued Executive Order No. 31 series of 2021 on March 4, 2021 setting new border guidelines for said towns explaining that the city had to maintain regulated entry considering its General Community Quarantine (GCQ) status and its current bout with new surges in its Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.
“With the policy of the National Government on eased travel restrictions, the City is relying on Health Declaration Forms, and triage protocols for contact tracing and COVID-19 mitigation measures,” the mayor noted.
He however assured that the rules were made less stringent than what was implemented in the past and even less rigid that those currently required of residents from other localities.
The measures that took effect March 5, 2021 did away with the health certificate/clearance requirement. Instead, LISTT residents will present health declaration forms that can be accomplished either manually or electronically (online).
Online registration may be done at https://hdf.baguio.gov.ph where a portal was created exclusively for LISTT residents through which Quick Response (QR) codes will be assigned to each registrant.
Each QR code will be valid for 15 days upon issuance and may be renewed upon expiration. It can be printed and presented at the checkpoints.
On the other hand, LISTT residents may opt to submit physical copies of the BLISTT health declaration forms every time they cross borders. HDF forms can be downloaded at https://hdf.baguio.gov.ph
LISTT residents will not be required to undergo triage procedures albeit symptomatic travelers are urged to immediately seek medical attention for proper health assessment.
Government agencies and instrumentalities providing emergency services or humanitarian aid during calamities will be afforded unhampered passage while cargo for essential and non-essential goods, logistics and delivery services and utilities for water, electricity, IT, telecommunications, fuel, and waste management will remain unhampered but may be subjected to random inspections by the Baguio City Police Office. – Aileen P.
