BAGUIO CPO NABS FOUR INDIVIDUALS FOR ILLEGAL GAMBLING

As a result of PRO-CAR’s intensified efforts against illegal gambling operations in the region, four individuals were arrested by the Napino cops of the Baguio City Police Office (CPO) in Brgy Camp 7, Baguio City on July 9, 2024.

According to the reports from the Baguio CPO Police Station 8 (PS8), the arrested suspects were identified as four male laborers, and all residents of Brgy Camp 7, who were caught in the act of engaging in an illegal or unauthorized bingo game in Sitio Upper Young Land, Brgy Camp 7.

The suspects and the seized pieces of evidence are now under the custody of Baguio CPO PS8 for documentation and proper disposition.

Subsequently, all individuals who were apprehended have been formally charged with violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602, prescribing stiffer penalties for illegal gambling. (PRO-CAR PIO / File Photos)
