BIKE TECH COMPETITION

The first Bike Technician competition was held at Melvin Jones Grandstand, Burnham Park. Seven Bike technicians both local and from Pangasinan competed in “Wheelset Mastery”. They were given 25 minutes to complete the Assembly and Truing of a 32-spoke rear wheel.

The participants were able to complete both assembly and truing within 20 minutes and one participant finished the wheel assembly within 5 minutes. The event is part of the Sang-atan Bike Festival 2024. Photos by Neil Clark Ongchangco
