Santa Cruz Artists and Creatives lead a Civil Society for Culture-based Industries

Santa Cruz, Marinduque – I Love Santa Cruz, Marinduque Collective welcomed a new set of officers led by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Jesse Esplana. The said civil society organization has a mission to empower the tourism, culture, arts, and creative industries in Santa Cruz, Marinduque.

I Love Santa Cruz Collective Board of Trustees (2024-2027) is composed of corporate officers including Jesse Esplana, the chairperson; Dr. Hilarion Elegado, corporate secretary; and Chelsea Rey, treasurer. The CSO’s trustees have Averil Paras, Segundo Quezada, Gatus Constantino, Lezelle Ricohermoso, Mark Laracas and Joy Barcelona. While the executive committee of I Love Santa Cruz Collective has RR Rañeses as executive director, Vivian De Guzman as administrative officer, and Jesrel Profugo as admin staff.

“Who are we? Get to know the corporate officers of I Love Santa Cruz, Marinduque Collective – a non-government organization (NGO) with a mission to empower the tourism, culture, arts, and creatives industry in Santa Cruz, Marinduque,” stated in their statement online.

They are also thankful to the selfless Santakurzins for accepting the responsibility of steering Santa Cruz’s creatives, heritage, and culture into the future. “Of course, we are thankful to the mentors and partners who helped us realize this vision. Santa Cruz Artists, Santa Cruz Dances, and most importantly, the continuing support, trust, and inspiration of the LGU of Santa Cruz led by Mayor Marisa Red-Martinea,” they said in utmost gratitude.

The Santa Cruz Artist shave recently participated in the Creative Marinduque exhibit at Moriones Arena last March 18 to 31. The Creative expo have the following artists: Sherlie Sinsoa Villaruel, Arvin Delos Reyes Portento, Mark Jerson Quinto Paz, Joven Charles Robles, Nathaniel Quinto, Mark Jayson Paz, Randell Martinez, Belle Fernandez, Hesed Pedernal Pevidal, Mark Larraac, Maria Stella Theresa Paez, Mecca Ella Palomares, Jesse Esplana, Kim Ismael Malabana, AJ Pielago, Averil Paras, Angelin Pelendiana, Quizana Aron, Jeanald Paz, Alleah Fe Gonzales, Jeannie Quinto Pielago, Dward Alvarez, Crienz Alahid and Harryn Torres. Santa Cruz Artists was established in 2018 have since exhibited their visual arts in Pagsibol 2022.  (PR)
