PRO Cor conducted an ocular inspection in tourist destinations and terminals
In a proactive move to safeguard the public this Holy Week, the Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PCOL ELMER E RAGAY, spearheaded ocular inspections across key tourist destinations and terminals in Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet, on March 27, 2024.
Beginning in La Trinidad, PCOL Ragay meticulously assessed Police Assistance Desks at strategic locations, including the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station, KM3 Compac, Strawberry Farm, Stobosa Colorful Houses, and Bell Church, ensuring police officers’ welfare and emphasizing the importance of vigilance and approachability, especially in assisting the public.
Subsequently, he visited the Igorot Stone Kingdom in Brgy. Pinsao Proper, Wright Park, and The Mansion in Brgy. Lualhati in Baguio City to ensure that the police officers are well-equipped and to reinforce the importance of their role in maintaining public safety.
Beyond assessing police readiness, PCOL Ragay engaged in dialogues with drivers and passengers at major terminals, including Buguias Van Terminal, Slaughter House Bus Station, and Victory Liner Bus Terminal, reinforcing adherence to safety protocols.
