4 drug personalities arrested, almost 12M worth of illegal drugs seized in 24 hours operations in Cordillera COPS

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – Acting on the directives of PBGEN R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN, the Regional Director of Police Regional Office Cordillera, Highland Cops conducted two buy-bust operations, one search warrant, and intensified checkpoint which yielded to the arrest of four drug personalities and confiscation of Php 11,901,692.00 worth of illegal drugs.

In Mountain Province, personnel of Bauko MPS and PDEA arrested a certain Rexton Magsino Bangang, 45 years old, in the Quarantine Checkpoint for transportation of illegal drugs.

Four boxes and one sack contain several bricks of Marijuana weighing 99 kilograms with estimated DDB Value of 11,880,000 pesos were recovered during the operation.

In Benguet, a high-value drug personality identified as Beroel Fianza Wasen, 27 years old, was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by La Trinidad MPS in Brgy. Betag, La Trinidad.

A total of 12 sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of 1.19 grams and standard drug price of Php 8,092 were confiscated during the operation.

In another buy-bust operation in Kalinga, a certain Felix Kibayan Dalacan Jr, 22 years old, was arrested after he sold two pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu to the operatives of Kalinga PPO who acted as poseur-buyer.

During the arrest, another three pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu was recovered in the possesion of the suspect.

In Baguio City, the implementation of Search Warrant by the operatives of BCPO Loakan Police Station (PS4) resulted to the arrest of suspect Kirt Dailay, 34 years old after 9 sachets of suspected shabu with a total SDP of Php 13,600.00 and assorted drug paraphernalia were found in his residence at Baligi, Kias.

Suspects and evidence were brought to the respective offices of each operating units for documentation and for filing of charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165). (PROCOR RPIO)
