Enhancing of 10-Point Agenda on Environmental Police of the BCPO

Armed with bags, gloves, and a strong sense of purpose, the police officers of the Baguio City Police Office, Pacdal Police Station 3, together with the police trainees of MABIDANG CL 2022-01 undergoing the Public Safety Field Training Program, successfully initiated a clean-up drive activity along Romulo Drive, Brgy. Lualhati, Baguio City, on October 26, 2023.

Embodying the PNP program Pulis Makakalikasan, the said police officers picked up and segregated the garbage scattered along the road.

The police officers also reminded the residents to always keep their surroundings clean and follow proper waste disposal procedures. They also encouraged them to monetize their recyclable waste by selling it to junk shops, in that way, they will be earning money while at the same time reducing waste in the city.

The said activity is aligned with the 10-Point Agenda on Environmental Police by the City Director of Baguio City Police Office, PCOL FRANCISCO B BULWAYAN, JR, which aims to maintain cleanliness within the city. It also aims to support the #BreathBaguio program of the City Government of Baguio in raising awareness about protecting the city as part of our social responsibility.
