SC vehicles exempted from city’s coding scheme during Bar Exams
As the Supreme Court of the Philippines (SCP) sets to conduct the Bar Examinations this month with the Saint Louis University (SLU) as one of its testing sites, Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued, Sept. 14, executive order no 119, series of 2023, exempting authorized vehicles of the SCP on Sept. 15,18,19,20,21,22 and 25, this year, from the Baguio City Number Coding Scheme.
“The city government of Baguio lends its full support to the Supreme Court, and shall work with them towards the outcome or orderly, safe and successful examinations,” the EO, which takes effect immediately, stated.
To fully capacitate those personnel organizing the said activity, it added, that “the number coding scheme implemented by the city of Baguio shall be temporarily suspended insofar as vehicles authorized by the Supreme Court of the Philippines, as allowed under city ordinance no. 01, series of 2003, or the ‘Baguio City Number Coding Scheme’, as amended.”
