Eight new Police Officers of (RMFB)1501st (MC) completed Advance Police Tactics

A total of eight newly assigned police officers from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 1501st Maneuver Company (MC) have completed their Advance Police Tactics (APT) in a closing ceremony held at the Forward Base of RMFB1501st MC at Sanafe, Lamut, Ifugao on August 24, 2023.

Key officers present were PLTCOL RUEL D TAGEL, Acting Force Commander of RMFB15; PLTCOL SAMSON L KIMMAYONG, Force Commander of the 2nd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company (IFPMFC); PLTCOL JEFFREY B VICENTE, Chief Operation PCO of the Ifugao Police Provincial Office (PPO); PLTCOL NELSON B MADIWO, Force Commander of the 1st IPMFC; PMAJ RUSTOM S ABALOS, Acting Battalion Commander, 14 Special Action Battalion (SAB); PMAJ RICHARD B ANANAYO, Acting Chief of Police of Lamut MPS; and PCPT JOEY S BALAG-EY, Officer-in-Charge of the RMFB1501st MC.

Other key personalities present were Ret. BGEN RENATO PAREDES; Hon. Joel B. Bungallon, Mayor of Banaue, Ifugao; Hon. Aezle D.Dumangeng, SK Provincial Federated President of Ifugao, Ifugao Youth Association (IYA), and Ifugao Youth Mobile Force (YMF).

As the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Mayor Bungallon reiterated in his message the importance of conducting training for police officers in order to equip them with the necessary skills to fulfill their commitment to serve and protect the province.

As the highlight of the program, the APT graduates demonstrated skills through Close Quarter Battle (CQB). After which, PLTCOL TAGEL, together with Hon. Dumangeng led the ceremonial firing to officially open the new firing range of the RMFB1501st MC.

The said training, which started from June 1 to August 24, 2023, aims to prepare the newly assigned police officers with different strategies and information in combating criminality and terrorism and to equip them with the knowledge on how to conduct different kinds of police operations.
