PRO COR CONDUCTED OUTREACH ACTIVITY IN SABLAN, BENGUET

A total of 100 residents from Benguet benefitted from another outreach activity initiated by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., PLTCOL RUEL D TAGEL, the Acting Force Commander of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15), and PLTCOL ALEX O MANLANGIT, the Acting Chief of Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU)- Cordillera, held in Sitio Talete, Brgy. Bayabas, Sablan, on July 24, 2023.

Also present during the program were PCPT DICK K LATOGAN, the Chief of Police of Sablan Municipal Police Station (MPS), and Hon. Mayor Alfredo B. Dacumos, Jr., Ms. Kristin Molitas, a representative from the Congressman’s Office, and other local government officials

As a highlight of the activity, PBGEN PEREDO JR. led the distribution of grocery items, rice packs, pre-loved clothes, slippers, and school supplies.

Further, DSAP-Benguet Chapter distributed vitamins and emergency medicines, while RMDU-COR lectured on best practices in oral hygiene and demonstration proper toothbrushing. After which, dental health kits were distributed to the beneficiaries.

The activity was also made possible with donations coming from other stakeholders, including “Madame of Bauang”, the Philippine Red Cross- Benguet Chapter, and the Drugstore Association of the Philippines (DSAP)-Benguet Chapter.

The activity dubbed “Panag-aywan Iti Kailyan”, aims to gather stakeholders’ support in helping our kakailyan, especially those who are deprived of certain services, and in support of the PROCOR’s DKP 3-Fold Agenda: Disiplina at Dasal, Kakayahan at Kaunlaran, Pagmamahal at Pagtupad sa Tungkulin”.
