50 COMMISSIONED OFFICERS COMPLETED INVESTIGATION OFFICERS BASIC COURSE
A total of 50 Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) with the ranks of Police Lieutenant to Police Lieutenant Colonel are now fully trained investigators after completing their Investigation Officers Basic Course (IOBC) conducted from April 27, 2023, to July 25, 2023.
The graduates who composed CLASS 220–2023 received their certificates of completion in a simple closing ceremony held at the PROCOR Multi-Purpose Gym, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on July 25, 2023.
The closing ceremony was graced by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., as the guest of honor and speaker.
Other key officers present during the program were PLTCOL ROGELIO D OLSIM, Officer-in-Charge of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD); PMAJ JOSEPH VIRNESON R DUMAYA, Chief Training Officer of RIDMD; PLT CHRISTOPHER P NEBRIDA, Asst. Chief of the Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU); and PLTCOL ALLAN B GUYGUYON, Asst. Chief of the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division (RLDDD).
As the highlight of the ceremony, PCPT ROLAND D SALINGSING ( 89.90%) was given the Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) for completing the course as the Top 1, while the Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal) was given to PLT JUN P TAD-O (88.50%) for being the Top 2, and PCPT FERNANDO C PESASE (88.25%) as the Top 3.
Also, leadership awards were given to PLTCOL MELCHOR J PASCUA who served as the Class Marcher, while PCPT GIDEON A BENNAGUeN received a similar award for serving as Class President.
In his message, PBGEN PEREDO JR. challenged the graduates to maximize their newly learned knowledge and skills in the investigation and contribute to decreasing crime volume and increasing crime solution and clearance efficiency region-wide. (PRO COR-PIO /File Photos)
