As SM Baguio is a well-known point of convergence, this initiative only indicates that safety and order are not compromised especially on weekends and holidays when mall-goers and visitors flock to the area.
“Safety and order are crucial for a functional and prosperous society from encouraging a favorable environment for investment, commerce, and tourism to building a cohesive community where people can live, work and interact with one another free from fear and worry.
“Knowing that our SM personnel are well-educated, equipped and trained for emergency response and security management is indeed a big help for the BCPO personnel in maintaining safety and order. Thus, I am grateful for the effort and determination of our participants who received and were educated with this training. Let this training completion be a catalyst for a strong security culture which is essential to maintaining the security posture we have carried out for years.
“Through this training, I hope that SM Baguio and the Baguio City Police Office will sustain a partnership and collaboration that emphasizes the responsibility to make better and stronger law enforcement and public service that safeguards every citizen and visitor of our beloved city making Baguio a safer place to live, work and do business.
“Rest assured that the BCPO will continue to support the programs and training aiming to ensure peace and security and carry out a stronger commitment to our duties and responsibilities as law enforcers and public servants.
