IBP Northern Luzon Governor graces testimonial dinner for new lawyers and recognition of newly appointed gov’t lawyers

VIGAN, Ilocos Sur– The newly appointed IBP Northern Luzon Governor Atty. Minerva R. Taguinod graced the testimonial dinner for new lawyers and recognition of newly appointed government lawyers held at NSCC Bath and Coffee in Vigan, Ilocos Sur on June 23, 2023.

Atty. Taguinod being the guest speaker focused her speech on inspiring the new lawyers. She shared her past experiences and reiterated how she managed the struggle of being a private practitioner. She advised the new lawyers to take de officio cases to gain more knowledge in handling cases. She also mentioned that her leadership has plans to work out for the release and increase in the legal aid subsidy.

There were 18 in the said region who passed the 2022 bar exams.

Ilocos Governor Jerry Singson was also present on the said occasion.

Atty. Taguinod is expected to grace the 26th Induction of officers on July 7, 2023, in Bauang, La Union.# MAE BARANGAN
