City okays two barangay tax measures

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified separate city council measures granting favorable reviews to the tax ordinances of two barangays in the Summer Capital pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991.

Resolution no. 306, series of 2023, grants favorable review of tax ordinance no. 1, series of 2023, of Ambiong-Baguio barangay.

Meanwhile, resolution no. 307, series of 2023, does the same for ordinance no. 1, series of 2023, of West Modernsite barangay.

The august body’s committee on barangay affairs, in its 2nd indorsements issued on different dates, recommended favorable review on said barangay tax ordinances considering that their enactments passed the formal and substantial requirements of an ordinance. – Gaby B. Keith
