PROCOR CELEBRATES WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY; WELCOMES THE REGIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF DENR-CAR

The Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR), led by the Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR.,  joined the celebration of World Environment Day coinciding with the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on June 5, 2023.

Engr. Ralph C. Pablo, the Regional Executive Director of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Cordillera (DENR-CAR) graced the program as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

Dir. Pablo was received by PCOL FREDDIE M LAZONA, the Chief of the Regional Logistics and Research Development Division (RLRDD), and was accorded a traditional welcome dance performed by the men and women of PROCOR.

As a highlight of the program, Dir. Pablo led the awarding of medals to ten (10) deserving PROCOR personnel and certificates of appreciation to two (2) DENR-CAR staff. He was assisted by PBGEN PEREDO JR. and other members of the Command Group.

In his message, Dir. Pablo emphasized the need to strengthen the collaboration between the DENR and PROCOR. He also gave assurance that the DENR is working with other concerned agencies to issue special patents over government lands, particularly those owned by the Philippine National Police.

“The DENR and the PNP are really tied together; we help you with your needs to formalize your ownership over your properties, and you help us with our needs for personnel equipped with knowledge, skills, and equipment necessary in environmental law enforcement. Together, we are making great progress for the Cordillerans.” Dir. Pablo added. (PROCOR-PIO)
