18th placer in bar examination commended anew
City officials recently congratulated and commended Atty. Eric Pamintuan Exiomo of the Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Law for placing 18th place with a final average rating of 86.49 percent during the November 2022 bar examinations that had been conducted in various testing centers around the country.
In a resolution, local legislators stated that Atty. Exiomo’s feat and achievement shows and continues to uphold the city’s identity as the education center of the north where it molds students into licensed professionals with flying colors.
Earlier, the Supreme Court (SC) announced that some 3,992 out of 9,183 examinees or 43.47 percent successfully passed the November 2022 bar examinations or the licensure examination for lawyers that was conducted in various testing centers around the country.
The 2022 bar examinations were conducted last November 9, 13, 16 and 20, 2022 in selected testing centers located in the different parts of the country to allow examinees from far flung areas to be able to take the said examination in the nearest testing center from their places.
Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, who was the chair of last year’s bar examinations, led the releasing of the results last April 14, 2023, 4 months after the conduct of the said examination.
