PROCOR Kicks-Off Women’s Month Celebration 2023
The men and women of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) join the nation in recognizing the dynamic role of women in the community during the Women’s Month Kick-off Ceremony held at Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on March 6, 2023.
The ceremony was hosted by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, and was graced by Dir. Helen R. Tibaldo of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – Cordillera, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
During his arrival, Dir. Tibaldo was received by PBGEN PATRICK JOSEPH G ALLAN, the PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA).
As the highlight of the ceremony, Dir. Tibaldo led the presentation of awards to the seven (7) deserving PROCOR female police officers for their notable contributions to the police service.
In her message, Dir. Tibaldo emphasized that the new recurring Women’s Month theme for this year up to 2028, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” highlights a whole-of-nation, whole-of-society approach to women empowerment gender equality, and inclusivity in all sectors of society.
Also, she recognized the female police officers of PROCOR and their significant roles in law enforcement.
“Having women at the helm of our law enforcement efforts can improve effectiveness, especially when it comes to responses to gender-based crimes. We can develop a more gender-responsive institution that better caters to the needs of everyone in the community, at yan po ay ramdam ko at kita natin na nangyayari sa PROCOR,” she added
