MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD

Rynne Daven A. Barrios of the University of Baguio Science High School won a gold medal for the Grade 12 Category in the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) 2022.

The SEAMO is a unique assessment platform originating from Singapore that places emphasis on critical thinking skills of its 21st Century Core Competencies and has grown to become the most highly acclaimed Math Olympiad competition in the Southeast Asian Region.

The city government commends his outstanding performance and academic excellence which serves as an inspiration for the whole city of Baguio. Mayor Benjamin Magalong with Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan gave the framed Resolution Numbered 90 (Series of 2023) during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Baguio City Hall grounds.  Photos by Neil Clark Ongchangco
