PROCOR gives honor to PBGEN CATANES (RET.)
The men and women of Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) gave honors to PBGEN JIMMY A CATANES (Ret.) in a ceremony held at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on December 19, 2022.
As the guest of honor and speaker of the Distinguished Visitor’s Program, PBGEN CATANES (Ret.) was received by PCOL GLENN D LONOGAN, Chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD), and was accorded with a traditional welcome dance and arrival honors by the men and women of PROCOR.
In his message, PBGEN CATANES (Ret.) shared his experiences in the service as he emphasized the significance of having a strong connection with family and friends.
“For the 34 years that I was in service, despite the ups and downs in my life, I have witnessed the full support of my family and friends wherein during those times that I encounter many challenges in the service, their guidance and protection led and helped me to be a good police officer,” PBGEN CATANES (Ret.) said.
Furthermore, PBGEN CATANES (Ret.) extended his gratitude to the Police Regional Office Cordillera for the warm welcome and for giving him a proper retirement honor.
PBGEN CATANES (Ret) was designated as the Director of Regional Internal Affairs Service-Cordillera before he officially retired from the PNP Organization in 2020 however due to the rise of COVID-19 in 2020 he was not given a proper retirement honor. (PROCOR-PIO / File Photos)
